The Glades HOA Board positions are volunteer roles focused on guiding and supporting the community. Board members meet regularly to review budgets, plan for maintenance and improvements, and make decisions that help preserve property values and community standards. They work with property managers, service providers, and Whitefish Mountain Resort to coordinate services such as snow removal, road maintenance, and other shared infrastructure. Board members also respond to owner questions and concerns, enforce community guidelines, and follow the governing documents to make fair, consistent decisions in the best interest of all owners—helping maintain a safe, well-managed, and enjoyable community for everyone. Board elections for the Glades HOA take place at the annual meeting of members, which is held once each year.

The Glades Homeowners’ Association Board exists to manage and protect the community by overseeing its operation, maintaining shared assets, and preserving property values. Its primary responsibility is the care, maintenance, and repair of all common areas—including open spaces, landscaping, and private roads—ensuring they remain safe, functional, and visually consistent with community standards. The Board also administers the Association by adopting and enforcing rules, managing budgets and reserve funds, collecting assessments, and securing necessary insurance. In addition, it coordinates services such as snow removal, utilities for common areas, and overall infrastructure upkeep. Acting on behalf of all owners, the Board enforces the governing documents, ensures compliance, and makes decisions intended to promote the health, safety, and long-term value of the community common areas

Owners in the Glades community are responsible for maintaining and caring for their individual properties, including their homes, lots, and any improvements located on them, in a manner consistent with community standards. This includes upkeep of landscaping, control of weeds, proper trash storage, and ensuring the property does not become unsightly or create a nuisance. Owners must comply with all HOA rules, governing documents, and applicable laws, and are responsible for the actions of their tenants, guests, and invitees. They are also obligated to pay all assessments and fees on time, maintain their private driveways, and cover costs for any damage or maintenance issues they cause to common areas. Additionally, owners must follow regulations related to parking, rentals, pets, noise, and exterior modifications, and obtain required approvals when necessary. Overall, each owner plays a direct role in preserving the safety, appearance, and value of the community by responsibly managing their property and adhering to the established standards.
